I worked with Lackey at the Charleston Shipyard for many years. He was a true gentleman - always caring and helping. It was a great pleasure to know and work with him. My deepest sympathies to all of his family and friends.

Jetter B. Lackey was a sincere friend of mine, William K. Epps. I worked with JB for many years at the shipyard. I have so many wonderful memories of Jetter, a wise person, who was always very helpful, and considerate of those around him!
