Jessie Stone Obituary

Jessie Mae Spring Stone SUMMERVILLE - Jessie Mae Spring Stone, 81, widow of Mr. Manning Stone, of Summerville, formerly of Jamestown, SC, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, May 3, 2010, in PARKS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL at 2 o'clock. Burial will be held at Summerville Cemetery. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock. Mrs. Stone, a daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin Spring and Lilly Louark Tanner Spring, was born June 6, 1928, in Williamsburg County, SC. She was a former seamstress with Oneita Knitting Mill in Andrews, SC. She was a homemaker, loved her family, and was a good mother. She was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Judy S. Freeman and husband Robert, Donnie M. Stone and wife Tonia, all of Summerville, and Larry D. Stone and wife Wanda of Bremmerton, Washington; five grandchildren, Wayne Freeman, Brian Freeman, Jessica Kinman, Manning Stone, and Caleb Stone; four great-grandchildren, Meygan Freeman, Trey Freeman, Grayson Evans and Stone Evans; sisters, Vie Hartley and Lorraine Guerry, both of Jamestown, SC.
