Jessie Burbage Obituary

Jessie Belle Burbage SUMMERVILLE - Jessie Belle Burbage, 97, of Summerville, SC, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, January 22, 2012 at Ridge Baptist Church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Eubanks will be the officiating minister. Pallbearers are James R. Smith III, Barry Lewis, Patrick Toro, Lester Alexander, Arthur Alexander, and Hubie Alexander. Honorary Pallbearers are DeWayne Smith, Wilbert Smith and Clay Roberson. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME Saturday evening from 6 - 8 o'clock. Flowers will be accepted. Miss Burbage was born October 4, 1914 in Berkeley County, SC, a daughter of James Burbage and Ida Droze Burbage. She was a retired folder with School Timers Dress Company. Survivors include many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews. you are in my thoughts and prayers i will cherish the memories i have of you like the old wash board i remember on your back porch,working that big garden you and granny always had and the best memory- if i was at grannies house on sunday we couldn't do any chores no laundry,mowing lawn etc. because aunt jessie said sunday is rest day. love you aunt jessie belle you will be dearly missed. your niece sherry ann smith RIP
