I remember being Nell and Buster's flower girl at their wedding and between my father and Mr. Thigpen, I am not sure which father was the more proud! Your loss is sorely felt and the deepest sympathies are extended to the family. We have all been blessed with having Mr. and Mrs. Thigpen in our lives whether it was at school or at church. Godspeed. Dear Mrs. Thigpen and The Thigpen Family: My name is Bill Leopard. You probably don't remember me, but I worked for Jesse way back in the early 60's, as a lineman tranferred frome Columbia in Sept., 1960. I don't think there ever was a finer man then Jesse was to me. He took a young man that was terriffied of climbing poles and made a decent lineman out of him. I will always have a special place in my heart for Jesse. I retired from AT&T in 1993 and moved to Aiken, SC, and still live here. I am deeply sorry for your loss, for it is partially my loss, too. I will remember you and yours in my prayers. Sincerely Yours---Bill Leopard, Aiken, SC
