Jesse Cecil Lott, Jr. CHARLESTON - Jesse Cecil Lott, Jr., 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Mary Wilcoxon Lott entered into eternal rest Monday, July 28, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the Downtown Chapel. Jesse was born October 11, 1948 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Jesse C. Lott and Dorothy Gladys Haley Lott. He was a Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Jesse was also a local Toy Maker, a member of the American Legion Post #147 and the Folly Beach Arts and Crafts Guild. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 36 years; mother, Gladys Lott, both of Charleston, SC; step-son, Gregory Brackett, Old Fort, TN; and brother, Thomas "Andy" Lott (Kathy), Charleston, SC.
