Jervey, I had not seen you since Pamela said good-bye to us, what a sweet, sweet, spirit you blessed us with. You were a good friend and husband to Pam and an even better friend as she withered away and our family is grateful for having had you be a part of our story. I will always remember you bringing my very sick sister to my baby shower in 1996 and you two were the only family members there on time... it sure wasn't because of Pam's timeliness (smile)
I know you are resting peacefully and God is welcoming you to a joyous celebration...my heart weeps for your family and I thank God for having known you.
Shawnalea Garvin, and the rest of the Garvin sisters...Terri and Teal.

My Dear Uncle Jervey
It was the shocking news, that brought tears to my eyes. And you made me remember what it was like to cry.
On that dreadful day, God decided it was your time, your time to go, so He took your life away,
And everyone felt the pain, of not having you here.
So many thoughts in my head.
So many things left unsaid. Why did you have to leave us so soon, so sudden, not giving me a chance to say goodbye.
You left that day, without a glance.
Never knowing God wasn't giving you a second chance.
It was just the other day we were celebrating your neices graduation, no one knowing the next celebration would be for you, the celebration of your life with us.
No one can evertake your place.
Your image in my heartwill never erase.
As you smile on me from up above.
My mind is still sad but my heart is filled with love.
I love you dear uncle you meant the world to me.
I'll always remember you as your watching down on me.
