Jerry Davis Jackson CHARLESTON - Jerry Davis Jackson, lover of God, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Mary V. Propes, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 28, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015, in Seacoast Church Chapel, 750 Long Point Rd., Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. Jerry was born October 20, 1944, in Wilmington, North Carolina, son of Davis and Mary Jackson. He was a devout Christian and loved God wholeheartedly. Jerry was a residential real estate appraiser and honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He loved humor, cards with friends, sports; especially baseball and golf. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, caregivers, friends, and family for all the love, support, and prayers. He leaves behind a loving family including wife, Mary Propes of Charleston, SC; son, Bart Jackson and his wife, Susan Speakman Jackson of Charleston, SC, and their daughters, Caroline Jackson, and Elizabeth Jackson; children by marriage, Troy Propes and his wife, Lee, and their daughters, Addison, Karlee, and Raegan, and Travis and Chrystal Propes and their sons, Andrew and Ryan all of Daniel Island. He is also survived by two brothers, Randy and Jan Jackson. He was preceded in death by Ann Bartley Jackson and his parents, Davis and Mary Jackson.
