Jerry Fuson Obituary

Jerry was born in Grimes, IA on October 24, 1941 to Roy and Emily Fuson. He passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Indian Meadows nursing home in Overland Park, KS. Jerry grew up and attended school in Granger, IA and after 30 years of service, retired from the Ford Motor Company in Kansas City. He is survived by five brothers and one sister; Leroy, Donald, Charles, and Robert Fuson of Granger IA, Larry Fuson of LaPorte City IA, and Delores Hawbaker of Houston, TX, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Thomas (Bud) Fuson and two sisters Pearl Bradish and Donna Taylor, and his long time friend Duke. His close friends and neighbors John and Grace Moore and Sheri Wormsley were an important part of his life as well. According to his wishes, he has been cremated and will be buried at a later date in a family plot at the Waukee Cemetery.

Though I've never met Jerry, this obit certainly caught my eye. I am Jane (Fuson) Brumley, and my father was Al Fuson. I knew he had relatives in Granger.
