One of my favorite memories with Jerry is when we were hunting moose near Wasilla, Alaska and we camped out the first evening in a tent which was fine. The next morning we woke up to 3 feet of snow. The tent poles could barely hold up the tent. Jerry and I packed up everything and tried to drive back to the main road in his International Scout. The snow was so deep we had to stop several times and clear the snow from in front of the radiator because the snow was blocking airflow through it and the vehicle kept trying to overheat. Great adventure!!!!
