I must say that I enjoyed all the good times on Logan Street with Yvonne and Jerome especially them trying to teach me to shag -- they were the best. Jerome always had a smile for you and always made the best out of everyday. I know he is already entertaining those he loves in heaven with his smile. Rest in peace and my sincere prayers and thoughts to all his family - I know they will miss his sweet ways. Rosie White Ryan

As a came here not a been here, I have been befriended by lots of old Charlestonians, Jerome Riols being one of them. I sure will miss my old Ark Lounge friend and visitor at Buddy's home on the creek. So long old friend, one more smooth stepping Charleston shagger has gone on to the great dance floor in the sky. You will be missed

My childhood memories are filled with love and laughter, especially the raucous noise and fun when the Riols family visited. Aunt Eleanor, Mary Florence and Jerome, in particular, had a gift for tickling "Uncle Buddy's" funny bone. Jerome always took time to talk to me, the much younger cousin, and I remember his kindness and big heart with great love.

I luckily was one of Jeromes' friends he called to tell jokes to. What a hero! I'll miss him and his jokes. Sondra and Lenny

Will miss a dear friend. Always remember his smiling face. One of my favorite people in the BEHS class of 1964.

Mary, I´m so sorry to read about the passing of your brother. I just read this tonight. Sounds like he was a fun loving brother and I know you and your family will miss him. Praying for you and your family. Love, Carole Mims

Gonna miss you Uncle Romie! Thank you for the memories you left behind, especially those crisp $100 bills you would give all the nieces and nephews for Christmas! Fond memories of Easter at Camp Cottageville also. You were so loving and accepting of all. You always wore the coolest outfits too. I can't say enough, enjoy being reunited in heaven with all the family and friends that went before you.
Much love
