My prayers go out to you and your family during the time of your loss. I knew Jeroid since elementary school and I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. Trust God and know that he will take you through these tough times. May God Bless all of you.

To the Ferguson family we sorry Roddie went to live in the SKY but we know he went to a better place and i'm sorry he went out the way he went out but his friends from Davison will always miss him and keep him in memory (Mon,Twan,Dennis)I still gonna call you my homeboy for life.Nooney and Maine keep your head up

In this time it is very hard to find words we can all say we are sorry but the pain you are feeling no one knows unless they have lost a child. It is easy to say everything will be ok but in our minds we are thinking Why me , why not some else. We also say
God knows best we know he does but we are angry with the world. This is a part of grieving and it is normal. When you let go let God and it will work itself out. I have never been in this seat loosing a child but I lost my first grandson 1 year ago and you know what I hated everyone even God at one point. But as time went by I began to understand he was God's child first and he was mine 2nd. But as loosing a grandson (2 1/2 months old) I can emphasize how you are feeling. It is like your world is coming to an end and you only want this dream to end. Believe me I emphasize dearly. But nothing helps at this time but GOD. Place your trust in him, he is the only one who can heal your heart. Nothing else at this time will seem to matter. Always remember unjust never propers and god is in complete control of this and every situation. God bless you and your family and remember God is in control.

Words of Comfort to the family:

John 5:24 reads, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

This scripture alone confirms that we who hear the words of Jesus and believe the Father who sent Jesus will pass out of separation from God and will be in a state of communion with God.

Cara, Dasia "Susie", Chyna, Ms. Betty and family, even though Roddie has left us physically, (we still see his face when we look at Dasia) HE WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Keep in mind that death is nothing at all, Roddie has only slipped away into the next room. Everything ya'll have been to Roddie, ya'll still are, so continue to call him by his old familiar name, speak to him in the easy way that you used to (Dasia telling Cara--- "I'm going to tell my daddy on you!"); put NO DIFFERENCE in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as you always laughed, joke as you always joked, pray, smile, think of him, pray for him, and allow his name to remain the household word. He is waiting for us very near, just around the corner!

Jeriod and I went to school together and remained cool until his untimely death. He will always be remembered by me for that mischievious smile of his. May God help ease the pain in your hearts and help you to heal in this time of sorrow. Miss Smith, hold fast to God's unchanging hands and continue to be strong for his children. You are the key to their fathers memory now. I love you all.

To the family, my heart goes out to you. Jeroid and I have known each other since the sixth grade and he was always so kind and peaceful. He will truly be missed. I wish you all the peace during the time of mourning.
