Jeremy Cox Obituary

Jeremy, it has been a year today. I miss you so much. I thought this would get easier but it has not. I think about all that you are missing and it just breaks my heart. You should be here making me laugh and giving me the big bear hugs that you used to give me. Or you should be here asking for money to go out. God how I miss you. Just remember that we love and miss you very much.

Jeremy it has been almost a year since we lost you. There is not a day that goes by that you are not in our thoughts. Now you have your grandmother up there with you and that does give me a little peace of mind knowing that you are there with each other. I just want you to know that we miss you more than anything in the world.

Rick, I know this is a voice from the past, but I read in the Elizabethtown paper about your loss and just wanted you to know that there are prayers going up for you and your family from Hodgenville, Kentucky. I can't imagine what you must be going through. As a mother of three, this would be my worst nightmare. Take care.

Jeremy and me used to be real close i didnt reall know his parents too much i had been there a time or two but you guys are in my prayers im really gonna miss him..

I still remeber like it was yesterday yal going out to the bowling alley royal z lanes and leaving Jeremy at my house and we would just have so much fun. You all are in my prayers. I miss you jeremy. We have also known about this guestbook and have been unable to sign. We absolutely loved Jeremy. Hannah was telling a friend a story about him just last week. He had such a kind and tender heart and we will miss him greatly. We are so sorry we weren't able to make the service but hope to come soon to share in your grief and hopefully offer some comfort. Also, I know that I had not talked to Jeremy lately either. I think the last time I saw him was in Jan. or Feb. And after that we lost touch. Mine and Christopher’s loss is so small compared to yours, but please know that Christopher and I really did love Jeremy and we will forever miss him. Jeremy was Christopher’s best friend for better or for worse. As I sit here crying it is hard to believe that I will never hear Jeremy tell me “I’ll be good Momma” as he and Christopher are walking out the door. What I would give to be able to call you one more time at 2:30 in the morning to tell you our boys have gotten themselves in trouble again. It all seems so silly now.
