Jerald Wilson Obituary

Jerald Wilson, Jr. Charleston - Jerry Wilson, Jr. of Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Jerry was born February 13, 1962, to Jerry and Laura Wilson. Jerry was the owner of Affordable Painting Co. where he and his son, Michael, served the greater Charleston area. Prior to starting his business, he was an automobile sales professional both in Charleston and his previous home in Toledo, Ohio. Jerry and his family moved from Toledo to the Charleston area in 2001 where he enjoyed the warm weather, the beautiful ocean view and fine dining. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary; sons, Nicholas (Lauren) and Michael; mother, Laura; sisters, Shelly Knollman (Paul) and Colleen Cimerman; grandchildren, Hank and Marley; nephews, Alex Knollman (Sadie), Spencer Cimerman; and niece, Jillian Cimerman. Jerry's father, Jerry Sr., preceded him in death in 2006. A visitation and memorial gathering to honor Jerry's life will be held at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel, on Saturday, October 1st, from 10am until 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the Charleston Animal Society, charlestonanimalsociety.org, 2455 Remount Rd., North Charleston, SC 29406.
