Jerald McDaniel Obituary

Jerald Dean McDaniel, 57, of Westminster, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Carroll Hospital Center. Born July 25, 1957 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph James McDaniel and Greta Ann Wolbert McDaniel. Survived by his wife of 34 ½ years, Leslie A. McDaniel. He worked in construction doing Restoration work. He was a member of The Church of the Open Door where he was a Bus Worker and attended the Neighborhood Bible Time. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1976. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter Regina Diann McDaniel of Altoona, PA, sisters Lois Darlene McDaniel and Meliza Jean McDaniel both of Altoona, PA, and one brother, Neal V. McDaniel of Eldersburg. Also survived by one nephew, five nieces and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by children Jennie Ann McDaniel and Jerry Lance McDaniel and one brother James T. McDaniel. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at The Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, MD 21157, with the Rev. Ray Shutt and Rev. Jim Bracelin co-officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
