Jennifer Dangerfield Obituary

Jennifer Lynn Wiley Dangerfield, 44, of Macedonia, passed away on the afternoon of August 16, 2025, in Berkeley County. Born August 22, 1980, in Charleston, SC, she was the beloved daughter of James Richard Wiley and Toni Shurlknight Phillips. Jennifer was a dedicated Patient Care Technician and Cafeteria Worker at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital and also enjoyed selling Tupperware. Her career path included roles as a security guard and sales positions with Scentsy and Mary Kay. A 1998 graduate of Timberland High School, she furthered her education at Colorado Tech University. Jennifer was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and had a passion for shopping and dining out. She cherished her many cats and dogs, who recently welcomed a litter of puppies. She is survived by her loving mother, Toni Shurlknight Phillips of St. Stephen; her son, James Murphy of Macedonia; her sister, Heather Wiley of St. Stephen; and her husband, Travis Jeremy Dangerfield. She was predeceased by her niece, Alyssa Roth. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 4:00 PM Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Peaceful Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 PM until the hour of service on Saturday.
