MEEK, Jehu Entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2006, Jehu Wyndham Meek, widower of Mary Putfark Meek. Residence, Charleston, SC. All services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Jehu was born in Mt. Pleasant , SC, January 20, 1920, the son of Randolph E. Meek. He was retired from the US Coast Guard Station in Charleston as an Electronics Technician, and he was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Surviving are 2 sons, Ronald W. Meek of Johns Island, SC, and Randolph W. Meek of Charleston, SC; 1 sister, Jett Hyde of Moncks Corner, SC; 1 grandson, Michael S. Meek of Pelion, SC; 3 great grandchildren.
