Jeffrey Ommert Obituary

He died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born March 3, 1954, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Mary C. (Bender) Ommert, with whom he resided, and the late Wayne H. Ommert, who died May 8, 2002.

He was employed by Occupational Services Inc. in Chambersburg.

He was a member of the Mongul United Brethren Church in Shippensburg, and the Faithful Servants Sunday school class. He was a former member of the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Co., was musically inclined, and enjoyed listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s.

Mr. Ommert is survived by his mother; a brother, David L. of Shippensburg; a sister, Lisa J. Ryan of Phoenixville; four nieces; a nephew; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.

The Rev. Richard J. Fischl, the Rev. Jacob F. Stover and the Rev. Ray L. Kauffman will officiate at services. Burial will be in the Mongul Cemetery, Southampton Township.

Friends may call on from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg, and from noon-1 p.m. Saturday in the church.
