What a Trooper! Jeff was always so knowledgeable and helpful and good to work with at the Corps. His positive attitude was unsurpassed. How he faced his difficult challenges was amazing. He will be missed by so many. May God comfort Mary and his extended family.

"Funk", I'll miss you brother, but cherish the memories of times past, as well as being able to see you in your final days on this spinning rock. Our visits were too few, and the times too short. I laugh when I reminisce about carefree times spent together with you, Lew, Huff, Bunn and the rest of the guys. In class, it was always a beautiful thing when you'd correct Doc Moore on one of his 3-4 chalkboard long math problems and tell him that he'd made a mistake. The rest of us were just along for the ride, and you were the driver. You were ALWAYS the smartest guy in the room!!And I know when you arrived at the pearly gates, you told St Peter that you were "just happy to be here"!! We'll look after Mary, but can never fill the hole that you've left. But you sure made it a brighter place while you were here. Till we meet again, my friend!!
Rest in Peace

I have always admired Jeff for his uplifting spirit despite the many adversities that came about. He will be missed at the Corps by his work family.
May Gods loving arms surround you all during this time and give you peace.

My friend and coworker of 15 years or so loved to talk about our experiences back in Clemson and getting his boat back running again. Matter of fact, that was going to be a priority once he retired but never completed as far as I know. Jeff worked so hard for his retirement and had many dreams yet to fulfil. He very much loved his fellowman and they always came before himself. I'll never forget Jeff and I look forward to getting back home to celebrate his life properly with his friends and family. God bless you all that loved him. Missing you buddy!
