Mom and I send our condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the Gaskin family. We always liked and admired Jeff. Jeff and Myrtle shared a common interest with mom though their devotion to the Lord and worshiping at Northbridge Baptist Church. He will be missed!

Jeff, Your Dad will always be such a huge part of my fondest memories at Middleton. Hearing his voice announce our baseball games is still etched in my memory...great,great times we all had! We were just in Charleston doing my Dad's funeral in Sept. It's so difficult for a son to lose a Dad...especially a Dad like what you and I had, who dedicated their lives to family and serving others...we love you, Jeff; and will hold your dear family in our prayers. Jeff and Lynette and Families:
There are not enough words to tell you how special Jeff was to our family and to all the people who knew him through Piggly Wiggly over all the many many years he worked for Coburg. He was such a hard worker and go to guy as long as we have known him which is since 1974 when Northbridge opened. I would often see him at Publix since retirement and of course a great big hug and always How the boys doing? I knew your mom was his life mate too because he always talked about her and you children. I want you to know that your dad MADE A DIFFERENCE wherever he went and made thousands of friends throughout the years. I will never forget he grilled all the food for JD's 50th surprise birthday party at the Elks for over 100 people steak and oysters with one helper, he cooked all afternoon. My son Jeff remembers he ran the concession stand at every St.Andrews or Middleton football game for many years. When you give of yourself, you give the greatest gift and your dad always did that. I loved him and will miss him always. Know he's in Heaven with your mom and your sister but believe me All is Well with his soul and he left this place better for having been here. Take comfort in knowing we loved him and appreciated all his did for us at Northbridge;JD said tonight all those vendor people worked more hours for free in my store I could never have paid them enough for all their hard work. Rest In Peace Jeff we love you.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Gaskin“s passing. He was a big man with a big heart. His laugh was infectious and brought a smile to everyone. We have lost a good person, but heaven has gained a wonderful "Neighbor".
May God give Lynette, Jeffy and the other family members strength and comfort in the days ahead.
