Jeannine Craven Obituary

CRAVEN, Jeannine ROUND O - Mrs. Jeannine Gruber Craven, 55, of 19336 Augusta Highway, Round O, died Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2005, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. Funeral services will be held 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, August 16, 2005, in Maple Cane Baptist Church, directed by The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Gruber Cemetery, Round O. Mrs. Craven was born October 22, 1949, in Colleton County and was a daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Fralix Gruber and the late Mr. Leroy Harold Gruber. She was a retired manager for Dollar General and was a member of Maple Cane Baptist Church. She loved exploring caves and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her mother of Round O are: six sons, Kenny Beebe and his wife Janet of Round O, Jason Craven and his wife Kalyndra of Lookout Mountain, Ga., Richard Craven and his wife Denise of Kennesaw, Ga., Brandon Craven and his wife Barbara of Springfield, Charles E. "Chuck" Craven, III of Walterboro, and Bradford Craven of Sumter; two daughters, Sharon Stevenson and her husband John of Walterboro and Lenora Norrell and her husband Bill of Charleston; a brother, Mitchell Gruber and his wife Betty Ann of Round O; and a sister, Valaree Howard and her husband Elmer of Round O. There are ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walton L. Gruber and a sister, Anne G. Bridge.
