Jeanne Marie "Jamey" Messersmith Senf MT. PLEASANT - With great sadness we announce that Jeanne Marie "Jamey" (Messersmith) Senf passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023 with family and friends surrounding her. She was born on November 11, 1942 to the late Mary Eugina "Jeanne" (Glasser) Messersmith. Her youth was spent in Niagara Falls, NY, where she loved everything outdoors, especially figure skating and racing boats. She graduated from La Salle High School, then met and married the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Senf. Jamey devoted time to church, family, friends and gardening over the years. But, entertaining a crowd was her forte. She loved to tell a story and friends knew she could talk endlessly about her children. Jamey and Jerry spent time in Youngstown, NY and Franklin, TN before settling in Mt. Pleasant, SC in 1980. There Jamey worked, studied at the College of Charleston and was an active member of St. Andrew's Church, serving on the flower guild and as a Stephen's Minister. Jamey is survived by her brother, Jay Messersmith (Rita) of Rochester, NY and her three children, Todd Senf (Martha) of Mt. Pleasant, Dr. Scott Senf (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant and Dr. Lisa Graham (John) of Duluth, MN. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren, Christian, Emma, Katie (Tim), Caroline (Michael), Allie (Creighton), Matt, Kelly, Erik (Michelle), Ryley and Michael as well as her great-grandchildren, Will, Lydia, and Leona. Many others found their way to Jamey and Jerry's welcoming home over the years and were counted as family. She impacted countless lives and will forever be missed. A memorial service and reception will take place on January 27, 2024 at St. Andrew's Church, 440 Whilden St., Mt. Pleasant, SC beginning at 10:00 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt.
