Mary Rinella Obituary

Mary (Polce) Rinella passed away at the Colonial Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Oct. 16, 2011. She was 101 years old. Mary was born and raised in Avezzano, Italy, and had lived in Weymouth 70 years. Mary retired in 1967 after many years as a presser for various dry cleaning companies. She wintered many years in Palm Beach, Fla., and enjoyed bingo, Foxwoods and playing poker. She was the daughter of the late Santo and Virginia Polce; beloved wife of the late Joseph Rinella; mother of Virginia Colantoni of Weymouth; grandmother of John Colantoni married to Denise of Virginia, Rick Colantoni married to Joanne of Maine, Ed Colantoni of Maryland and Lisa Campbell married to Jason of Methuen. Also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Mary was the youngest of eight siblings who predeceased her. Funeral prayer service in the East Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, corner of Charles and Middle streets, Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at 11 Oclock. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
