Jean Odom Obituary

ODOM, Jean Jean H. Odom, 73, died peacefully at her home in Goose Creek on Friday, December 19, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 10, 1935, in Gadsden, AL to the late Rhemus and Maggie Haney. She was retired from the Navy Exchange and loved gardening and quilting. She was predeceased by her husband, Billie Jean Odom. She will be sadly and deeply missed by her family including two daughters, Regina O. Crosby and her husband, W. Craig Crosby of Walterboro, Valerie O. Keith and her husband, Varn E. Keith of Goose Creek, two granddaughters, Jennifer M. Kuhns and her husband, Troy J. Kuhns of Summerville, Kayla N. Tortora and her husband Justin P. Tortora of Goose Creek, and six great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to her visitation from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 869 St. James Ave. Funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, December 22, 2008 at MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL with burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
