Jean Madden Obituary

My condolences to all of Jean's family and friends. I was very sad to hear this news. I often told Jean that she could have sung the phone book or a grocery list and it would have brought tears to my eyes - her voice was that beautiful. I remember her with love and respect from her time at First Parish of Sudbury (MA), Unitarian Universalist.

Several of us who worked with Jean during her time at Fay School are deeply saddened by her passing. She was an amazing technology advocate who realized earlier than most the significant supporting role that technology would play in the everyday classroom. Her legacy lives on. Anne Bishop

To Jean's family. I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Jean several years ago at the Fay School. She was so helpful and always had a smile, especially when talking about the Red Sox, visiting all the ball parks, and her PT Cruiser. Again, my deepest condolences. Cathy Logan

Jean, I will always remember our car trip to attend a professional development training. I enjoyed it so much. We talked and carried on the entire time. It was a pleasure to work at Fay School with you! Lots of love to Jean's family. You are in my thoughts.

Our family appreciates so much the support shown throughout Jean's extended illness. Meals, prayers, cards, and other support eased the journey and helped make Jean's transition a peaceful one.

Mark, I went to NMH with Jean and remember her with such fondness, a very caring person but also full of fun. She was mature beyond her years and I looked at her from a distance as someone who already had figured out what was important in life. You were lucky to have her, as were all of us. I barely knew her...but I knew her well...her kindness...her generous spirit..her humility..her beautiful voice, both in song & in striving for those in need..She will be missed by not only her family & friends...but also those hearts she touched...& there were many...prayers to you all.
