JEAN GRAMMER, 92, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:57 pm, Monday, March 2, 2026 at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Illinois.
She was born to the late Jake and Maggie (nee McConkey) Cotner on February 4, 1934 in Rockwood, Illinois.
Jean married Don Eggemeyer on September 21, 1951; he preceded her in death on December 19, 2000. She married Garrett Grammer on June 9, 1967 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 2, 1993.
She was a daycare provider and built Kinderella Childcare Center from the ground up. She then began her career in real estate.
Jean was a member of Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
