Jean Fludd Obituary

Jean Eleanor Fludd RIDGELAND, SC - Jean Eleanor Fludd, 74, widow of Luke C. Fludd, passed away at her home in Ridgeland, SC after a short illness on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. She was born in Ridgeland, SC on August 22, 1935. She was the daughter of the late James Ellis and Robbie Lee Roberts Altman. She was the owner of Jones Feed and Seed for years and was employed by Jasper Feed and Seed. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Fludd (Monty) Stanley of Grays, SC and Peggy Lee Fludd of Ridgeland; two grandchildren, Andy Stanley of San Diego, CA and Adrian Stanley of Douglas, MA; one sister, Barbara Malphrus of Ridgeland; two brothers, Everett (Shirley) Altman of Charleston, SC and Wilton (Ruth) Altman of Ridgeland; three nieces and eight nephews. She was predeceased by her older brother, Wallace. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 20, 2010, in the Great Swamp Baptist Church, Ridgeland, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service at the church. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
