Jean Davis Obituary
Born in Avoca, she was a daughter of the late Dr. James and Laura (McAndrew) Dougherty. She was a graduate of Avoca High School and a member of St. Mary’s Church, Avoca.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Manley, sisters Eleanor Conley and Mary Callahan. Her first husband, Francis Manley, died in 1969; her second husband, Willard Davis, died in 2004.
Survivors are son James, Pittston, two grandchildren, a niece and nephew.
The funeral will be Thursday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Hughestown, with the Rev. Thomas Maloney officiating. Interment will be St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avoca.
The family will receive friends Thursday morning at the church from 9 to 10 a.m. Arrangements are by the Ruane & Regan Funeral Home, Avoca.
