Mark and I will always have a fond spot for Jason, that boy with whom we were blessed to share in his growing years. We always called him 'the red headed intellect' - so ahead of his years. I didn't know Jay for very long but in the time that I did know him i got to know him very well and he made a lasting impression that will never be forgotten. He was kind and sweet and caring. He saw people for who they were and for who they would become. He offered to hold my hand during a difficult time and I will miss him terribly. I wish more than anything that I was able to have more time with him.
To his family, may you find the bright spots in life during this difficult time. He said wonderful things about all of you. He loved his family with all his heart.

Jay, you touched so many of us in South Carolina, I loved having a biker friend from New England who didn't look at me funny when I work my Red Sox or Patriots gear. To your family, Jay was an amazing young man, you should be proud of what he was able to accomplish in such a short time, he will be missed by many. Our hearts are with you in your time of grief, and prayers for healing go out to you.
