Jason Cartrette Obituary

CARTRETTE , JR., Paul GREEN POND - Mr. Jason Paul Cartrette, Jr., 30, of 1190 Clover Hill Road, Green Pond died Thursday morning, July 5, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, July 9, 2007, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend S.M. McGee, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. Mr. Cartrette was born September 2, 1976, in Charleston and was a son of Mrs. Sally Ann Hinson Cartrette and the late Mr. Jason Paul Cartrette, Sr. He was a graduate of East Columbus High School and enjoyed fishing, wrestling, and video games. He was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. racing. Surviving in addition to his mother of Green Pond are: three brothers, Sandy Register of Green Pond, Jeff Register of Bamberg, and Justin Cartrette of Walterboro; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Dorethia Thompson of Holly Hill.
