CHARLES JOSEPH WARREN 'CHUCK' BRADLEY, 89 ROCKFORD - Charles Joseph Warren "Chuck" Bradley, 89, Rockford, passed away Tuesday, January, 20, 2015, at Morning Star Village. He was born October 7, 1925, in Detroit, MI, the son of Francis and Louise (Rochon) Bradley. He was a graduate of Fordson High School in Detroit. Chuck was a veteran serving in the Merchant Marines. He married M. Kathleen "Katie" O'Connor in Dearborn, MI, on May 27, 1950. Chuck worked at Chrysler Corp for 19 years, retiring as a quality control supervisor on January 31, 1981. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Chuck enjoyed golfing, keeping current on world events and was an avid reader. He often shared fascinating details of his younger years. Survived by his loving wife, Katie; his sons, Brian (Mary Helen Lillich) of Cedarburg. WI, and their children, Emily and Margaret; Matthew (Peggy) of Riverside, CA, and their children, Stefanee and Daniel and Daniel's son Jackson; daughter, Maureen Bradley of Waikoloa, HI, and her children, Shannon and Taylor; his brother, Frank (Sylvia) Bradley, Jr. of Tennessee.; his nephews, Terrance, Daniel, and Marc Bradley, James "Jim" Kriss. Predeceased by his parents; his brother, Francis Donald Bradley; and his nephews, Patrick Kriss and John "Jay"Kriss. Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. Rockford, with the Reverend Monsignor Eric R. Barr officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 1:45 p.m. Saturday, at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family burial at a later date. Per Chuck's request, no flowers please.
