Janice Grant Obituary

Janice Grant CHARLESTON - Ms. Janice Grant, 69, of Charleston, SC, and daughter of Mrs. Lavina Grant and the late Mr. James Grant, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 11:00 am in Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church, 110 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29403. She will be laid to rest in Graham A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 1124 Wappoo Rd., Charleston, SC 29407. Visitation for Ms. Grant will be this evening at the mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 pm where the family will be receiving friends beginning at 7:00 pm. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Kathleen Grant (Fred) and Marcia Grant; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Austin, Jr., Jamie Caldwell, Courtney Snype, Shaniese Snype and Garith Snype; brother-in-law, Jimmy Austin; and a host of other loving relatives and sympathetic friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Austin. Relatives and friend may visit at: 919 Magnolia Rd., Charleston, SC 29407.
