Janet Phillips Obituary

Janet Irene Phillips, born December 1, 1968, in Arkansas, passed away on October 9, 2025, in South Carolina, at the age of 56. Janet was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Doyle Wolfe, Sr. and Connie Faye Wolfe. A proud veteran, she served in the United States Navy before continuing her dedication to public service through a long career with the federal government. Janet was fiercely strong-willed and bold, never afraid to speak her mind and always willing to lend a hand. Janet loved her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever felt in every story shared. She is survived by her loving children: Jared Ortega Juan and Erin Nichole Wolfe Phillips (Garrett Skyler Larson); her grandchildren: Elaina May Juan, Nolan Ortega Juan, and Elijah James Juan; her brother, Robert Doyle Wolfe, Jr.; her nephew, Robert Doyle Wolfe, III.; as well as her former husband, Larry James Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Arkansas.
