Graduated graduated from the MPA program in 2016 and I had the absolute pleasure to have Janet as a professor and a mentor but mostly as a friend. To say that I am incredibly sad and heartbroken doesn´t really do it justice. My sincerest condolences go out to all her family and her friends and everybody that had the pleasure of knowing her. She made such an impact on me and I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed and that I got to learn so much from her not only in an education sense but just how kind and sweet she was to me as well. My thoughts are with her family during this very difficult time.

I worked at C of C and had many opportunities to interact with Janet. She was the ultimate professional, always upbeat and loved her students, programs and her contributions to all.

James and Jordan, I am so very sorry about your mother's passing. I enjoyed my many conversations with her back when you boys and Bradley were at Blessed Sacrament and in Boy Scouts. She was kind, soft spoken and always had your best interests at heart. My condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of Janet´s passing. I was a co-worker many years ago at DSS. I saw her over the years while she was at CofC. My husband Carl & I helped her pick out her first IPhone a few years ago, meeting at the store & then going out to lunch. She was getting it for pictures of family. She was such a warm, caring person & will be missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know her. Please know that you as her family will be in my thoughts.

Janet was a beloved and respected part of the College of Charleston MPA program when I was a student (1990-1992). She was extremely knowledgable and helpful to all the students. To her family: please accept my condolences for your loss.
