A wonderful friend & neighbor with a heart of gold! It seems you were called home too soon. We miss you already, with your laughter & ready smiles across the fence. Our prayers go out to Jackie & family. It was a privilege & a blessing to have known you. We look forward to the day when we will rejoice with you in paridise.

My deepest condolences for Jackie, Jimbo, Kevin and their family. So many wonderful memories growing at Aunt Ann and Uncle Pugs dock.

I would just like to send out my condolences to the entire Wear family. I was not lucky enough to have known “Big Daddy”...but I know his boys and that right there says it all...two wonderful men. My thoughts and prayers are will you all and my love. RIP Mr. Wear. ❤

We are so sorry for your loss. He was a special person to me and my family. I have many great memories growing on the Isle of Palms his family. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Jimmy was a wonderful person who I remember fondly. As a 12 year old he let me hang around with his “Wear’s Trenching” crew and paid me $20.00 a week! That was big to me. Every time I spoke to him it would end with him saying “I love you”. He was a special man.

He was a friend to me in my darkest hours rest in peace

Jimmy was my first boss. At age 12 he hired me for $20.00 a week with his crew at Wear´s Trenching Service. I didn´t do much work but I loved hanging around with them so he paid me. He was a wonderful person. Every time I spoke with him he would always end it with "I love you ". The world needs more like him.

Jackie, my deepest sympathy. My strongest memory of Jimmy is the enthusiastic way he lived life, without inhibition and with graciousness to all with whom he came in contact.
