James Norris Wall CHARLESTON - September 29, 1936 - May 14, 2023 James Norris Wall, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ. James Norris Wall born on September 29, 1936, in Coosawhatchi, South Carolina, son of Harry Clifford Wall and Rebecca Moore Wall. James Norris was a Mason for 65+ years at Union Kilwinning No4 f.7.m. He worked for 38+ years at The News and Courier. James Norris was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Alterea H. Wall; brothers, Joseph, Billy, Oliver, Curtis; and one sister, Betty Wall. He was survived by his wife, Christine (Chris) Wall (Tonnia and Tom); brother, Paul and Valerie; grandchildren, Shea Fisher; and many more grandchildren. Memorialization will be by cremation and burial at Live Oak Cemetery. Memorials may be made at First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Hwy., Johns Island, SC 29455. Memorial will be performed by his brother, Rev. Paul Wall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made at the first Baptist Church of Johns Island, SC.
