James J. Turck SEABROOK ISLAND, SC - Mr. James Joseph Turck of Seabrook Island died November 19, 2011. Born on July 7, 1924, Mr. Turck was a native of Long Island, New York. He graduated from Adelphi University and obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration from Columbia University. Mr. Turck began his career in sales and worked in that capacity with NBC in New York City. He later acquired a seat on the American Stock Exchange and actively invested in commercial real estate on Long Island, NY. I did not have the opportunity to meet Mr. Turck, but had hoped to meet him to hear his story about the recovery of his WWII bracelet from Italy. I was fascinated by this story, and wanted to interview him for the archives of the American Military Museum in Charleston. My condolences on your loss, Mrs. Turck. May God comfort you in your time of loss. Jeff
