James Sauls Obituary

James Henry Sauls HAMPTON, SC - Mr. James Henry Sauls of Holly Street Extension in Hampton died Sunday morning at his residence. Mr. Sauls was born in Ehrhardt, May 15, 1936 a son of the late Lucas Henry Sauls and Mary Lou Reavis Sauls. He was the owner and operator of Sauls Wrecker Service in Hampton County for many years. Mr. Sauls was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard, enjoyed fishing, and enjoyed working on and building his own wrecker equipment. Surviving are: His wife of 59 years Shirley Terry Sauls of Hampton; Daughters: Kathy Mosley and husband Randy of Early Branch, Lisa Ashby and husband Michael of Hampton, and Tina Moseley and husband Mike of Hampton; Sisters: Mary Nell Godwin of Beaufort, and JoAnn Long of Hampton; Grandchildren: Brian Henry Sauls and wife Sheena, Amanda Mosley, Dalton Shramek and Lauren, and Collin Harter and fiance;e Ashley; and one great grandchild: Lucy Sauls. Mr. Sauls was predeceased by a brother Dan Sauls. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton, conducted by Rev. George Skinner, with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the Chapel in Hampton, located at 300 Mulberry Street West.
