I just now saw the obituary. Jim was my first technician at Westvaco Research Center. He worked with me from 1978 to 1980. He was a simple and contented individual; generous to a fault; and a hard worker. He was very interested in the history of science and in inventions. A very dedicated worker, he´d never let his health problems interfere with his work. I tried to hire him when I moved to Ohio, but he was reluctant. He was deeply attached to his family. May God grant him Peace and my (belated)condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim in my early days at Westvaco (now Kapstone) in our Research Lab. We did share many laughs with our other colleagues - precious memories. My heart goes out to Jim's family, especially to Kelly, Amy and his grandchildren whom I know he loved very much and was very proud of.

My Condolences go out to all of the Pritchard family, and to Jenny Martin and Ray, that I am related to, my heart goes out to all, I didn't know James but I know he is at peace now and he would want his family to find peace with his passing, knowing that he is not hurting and has gone to be with our Lord, May you find comfort in knowing that others care
