OUR FRIEND:
We know that you are in a better place now. We miss our conversations about our families, work, school days, and most of all about the works and the goodness of Jesus Christ. We think about you often and laugh about some of the things we discussed. Your memory will remain dear in our hearts.

It seems like yesterday since you left us. I miss your voice, your concerns, and how we use to chat in the mornings before going to work. You always would say "Hey Girl! Whats Up?. You left us without saying goodbye and it hurt so much. You were so helpful at Annie's birthday party and all of the wonderful things that you did no one knew why you did it. I believe that you and God knew why because both of you had a connection on that night. Now you are in a better place and I could see your face and hear your voice saying "I've had my shares of ups and down and I know one day it will be over and I'm going home to get my crown. Deep down in my heart I know that there is a crown of life waiting for you in God's kingdom. I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart forever. To Queen, Jamie, and LJ: Be strong and hold on. Jimmy is in a better place.

With love,

your cousin, Cassandra

There's a TV show entitled "Everybody loves Raymond", well I can truly say that "Everyone loved Jimmy". Jimmy was a true friend to EVERYONE!He was always concerned about EVERYONE! Jimmy, if I could thank you right now, I'd thank you for being a friend ever since we grew up in church and in high school. When I think about the jokes and the names we used to all each other I can't help but smile; especially the joke about who would "talk" over who...BAD JOKE! I'd thank you for always asking how everyone in my family was each time we talked, no matter how often; I'd thank you for something as simple as helping my Dad put my mother's wheel chair in the car on Dec. 3; I'd simply thank you for being YOU;
you were the BEST to your family, friends and community! We all miss you soooo much!

Man... I feel like your time just came too soon for me and for my son who will never get to know how great you are. Every time I think about you I can remember how you always treated me so well. You had faith in me when no one else did and for that I'm still aiming to make you so proud. You are the father that I never had and I will never forget you and I can't wait to tell my son how good you were to us. How you called the hospital when he was born and told me you heard I had a turkey for Thanksgiving (9lbs 3oz baby).Seems like yesterday he came and you left and sometimes I feel like I'm the one to blame. I don't know. You ought to see my little man now I know you would be so proud of how well I'm doing with takeing care of my son. When I think about u I cry in fact I want to cry right now. I love you uncle Jimmy from then until 4 ever.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

You are so truly missed. I think about you all the time. I can remember as if it were yesterday when I was very intense about a situation that was going on - which as it turned out to be the last time that I would see you - and you simply looked at me and said "don't sweat the small stuff." I often think about those words when I tend to overreact to situations that don't even warrant a second thought. Your wisdom, your smile (those very very bright white teeth), your kindness, and your sense of humor are truly missed. Rest in the arms of our father. Your work here on earth is done but your light will forever shine in the hearts of us all. We love you dearly and miss you lots!!

I miss you sooooo... much I can not explain. I remember your last words to me the night before was "Pumpkin you have always been a blessed child" and that will always stick with me. Please give everyone my love and please ask GOD to enlarge our territory with many many many more blessings upon our family.

Oh how much you have been missed over the past two years. I did not know at the time that there was a guest book. I wrote to inquire and they responded that they would re-open it for 7 days. I sent e-mails to all that I had and e-mail address for and asked for them to forward to those who may want to write something for you. Oh how I miss you so much. I think about you all of the time. I have listened to the things you have told me and try to do as you suggested. Somehow, I guess I forgot a few. (smile) Like, if you are going to buy a place to live, don't buy a townhome, but a house. Of course, my time was limited and connot afford a new house like you suggested. Of course, I really love cutting the yard(syke). Anyway, I'm doing well and you would have been very proud of me. Sometimes I really wish that I could talk to you. I have so many things to say. You always listened to me and advised me, but not ever told me what to do. I always remember what you suggested and always (mostly or the majority of the times) went with what you said. I just really want you to know that I truly and dearly miss you. Continue to rest in peace until we see each other again. Love You Always and Forver. Your Sister Naomi
