We would like to thank all of the people who called to Jim's viewing on the Friday and also to the people who joined us for Jim's Mass Service on Saturday. I would like all the people who signed Jim's registery to please leave their address. At [email protected]
Jim's coming home for the last time was one we didnt expect in this heartbreaking circumstance. We had a viewing in his home where his Mum and Dad, family, friends, neighbours, and relations called to see him for the last time. Lots of his friends from all over Ireland and the U.S. called to pay their respects at Navin's Funeral Home. Jim was then removed to St. Mary's Chruch for a blessing and a rosary. On Thursday mass services were provided by Fr. Michael Mannion, Fr. Francis Mitchell, and Fr. Michael Mac Greil and what a beautiful sermon they provided for his final farewell. Hunderds of people formed a procession to his final resting place in Aughavale Cemetery on 4th of Sept. May eternal rest be grant unto him.
We want to thank Christ Our King Church, Rev. Bryan Babick, Sr. Mary Cyrill, the Choir of Christ Our King, Ms. Sue Murphy and the volunteers.
Fr. Michael Mannion, Fr. Michael Mc Greil, Fr. Francis Mitchell, St. Mary Church (Westport)
Thanks to Frank McCaffrey for his soloist accompanied by St. Mary's Church Choir.
We would like to thank everyone for all of the beautiful Mass Cards/Memorial, flowers/reads for Jim's grave, and for your kinds words and sympathys we recived.
Thank You to J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home for preparing Jim for his long journey home.
We would like to thank Tom Navin for his funeral services in Ireland.
We would like to thank The Castlecourt Hotel for providing the food afterwards.
Thanks to all the people both in Ireland and the U.S. who were so kind to send food into our homes at such a difficult time.
Thank you to those we may have forgotten in any way.

I cannot expresses how saddened we were to hear about Jim Paul's passing. We are still in shock and disbelief. He was an amazing cousin and our whole family will miss him terribly. Minette, he often spoke of you fondly and with admiration. Trina, he loved you so much. You were his pride and joy. He always beamed when he spoke of you and was so proud of everything you did. I know you will continue to feel his presence in your life. Just look for it. It will be there. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

We were in Germany when we found out the news. We are completely shocked. It was sad coming home. We already miss him. We don't know much about his death. He was the best neighbor !! God be with ya Jim you are an angel amongst us. I know your spirit will live on. I am glad to hear your burial will be back in Ireland, I know that's how you would have wanted it. To your family and all who love you our sympathies. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you, if you need any help with the home just call us or come by.

I certainly am sorry to hear the news of Jim's passing. I rented from him for a year, on Farmal Street and he came by often - he was always a delight to talk to and most of all to listen. I enjoyed my time of knowing him and meeting his daughter, Trina. My condolences to all his family and relatives. With prayerful thoughts and memories, Patsy

Jim was one of the first people to call me last year when my father died, he had only met my dad one time, but remembered so much about him from that short meeting. I will always remember his kindness during that difficult time and what a caring individual he was... his zest for life will be missed. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends
