My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time. Mr. Myers, Doug, was definitely...One in a MILLION. Meeting the family over 30 years ago, again, saying how quiet he always was. That was such a unique quality about him. When he spoke, everyone got QUIET. May God be with his family and friends at this time, for we know he is in good HANDS! Many Blessings,

I'm so sorry to hear about Doug. My prayers are with you and your family. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I'm the late Robert Cutrell, Sr.'s youngest child. Doug and I found out we were related when we worked together at the shipyard. He was such a great friend to me. I'm sure you will miss him terribly.

Dear Sherran & sons, Although I haven't met you face to face, I care deeply for your loss. I will call you when I go to Charleston in July & maybe we can meet. I tried to call Janet last night & she was on her way to be with you. Just know that I am praying for you and the family & with God's help, you'll make it through the coming days. Mr. Myers,
Thank you for your service and sacrifice in the turbulent times of Viet-Nam. Thank you for the service after the war-years of serving your Country and fellow Sailors and Marines by working in the shipyard. We will not forget you.
May God in His infinite mercy comfort your loved ones.
Godspeed Sailor.
