JAMES "JACK" MURRAY
AGE: 82 TOMS RIVER
James "Jack" Murray, 82, of Toms River, passed away July 3, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Toms River since 1965. He was a founding member of the Toms River East Little League in 1966 and a longtime coach. James was also a member of the Toms River Knight of Columbus and currently a member of St. Justin's Holy Name Society.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary in 2005. Surviving are his sons, Paul and his wife Caroll, Michael and his wife Cathleen, Peter and his wife Bernadette and John and his wife Donna all of Toms River. He is the beloved grandfather of Carly Scallon and her husband Casey, Jessica, Jaclyn, James and his wife Lauren, Ryan, Bryan, Gregory, Meghan, Adam, Brent, Mark, Brianna, Caitlin, Kevin and Paige and proud great-grandfather of Liam.
Visitation will be Tuesday 7/6/10 from 6-9 PM and Wednesday July 7th, from 9:00 - 9:30 AM at "The Family Owned" Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals 412 Main Street Toms River, NJ 08753. A 10:00 AM funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Josephs RCCH with interment immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Van Dyke Hospice 99 Rt. 37 West, Toms River 08755 appreciated. Condolences may be sent to: carmonabolenfh.com
