Jim was a great guy and a lot of fun. He was meticulous and specific for sure. His dear friend Phil Shepherd passed away earlier this year. I am sure they are together right now. They are both greatly missed!

Jim will always have a special place in my heart. The sunshine, fun and laughter Jim brought to our lives could fill a great book. Jim was a true gentleman. We loved him dearly. With his passing there is a little less light in our lives.

Jim was a very special friend. He always brought fun and laughter into our home(s) in Phoenix and in Dallas. Our kids, Mickey and Julee, loved to listen to Jim's funny stories, even though some of them were about their parents! Jim was a part of our family and he will forever have a special place in our hearts.

I will miss Jim. He had great spirit and thoughtfullness. I enjoyed getting to work with him on some projects here in Dallas. He had many friends from all over the country. When he got sick it was inspirational how his family rallied around Jim and the help that gave him was invaluable. Several years ago he confided to me and others that what he really missed the most and was working on getting back was a boat down in Floridia. Maybe he is on a boat somewhere now. He also loved his time in the Navy and he loved to read. He will be missed.

Jimmy McManus and I went to school together from 1st grade thru 8th grade, then later thru 4 years at HC. His sense of humor was well developed even early in grade school and only improved as he matured. I regret not staying in touch as he worked in the "awl bidnez" (his words).

I am so proud to be Jim's cousin. We certainly had many good times growing up in Brooklyn and Breezy Point. I could tell many stories and they would all be positive. He'll be truly missed. Kevin McManus

Very Sad...................Here's remembering a one of kind character who brought lots of laughter and humor into everyone's world. I will always remember that gap btwn his front teeth framed by a wide smile.
