Dear Jim and family,
I was so very distressed to get your e-mail telling me of JJ's death. Know that each of you are in my thoughts and prayers both now and forever.
It is difficult to imagine what you are all going through just now. May God bless you all and may He lead you through this tragic time together. Why these things happen, we'll never know....especially to one so young and vibrant...they just do and we must trust the Lord and lean on Him to help you all make it through each day that comes.
With much love, Helen

Jim, Can't begin to tell you how sorry I am. I remember JJ and Nathan playing ball together as kids. I know your heart is broken. We plan to come down soon to see you. I love you.

Thoughts & prayers sent to JJ's entire family, especially his children. Pull together for those kids as they will need lots of help to get through this, my heart goes out to them. He was a special person who will be missed. It's a very difficult thing to lose someone so young. I know I lost my husband, Dac at age 37 in May, 2008 & we have 3 young children. Dac & JJ did some fishing together in the past & I hope they're fishing again with the Lord in heaven. Rest in Peace JJ!

Sissy, I am so sorry of the loss of a son at the prime of his life. He was about the same age as my daughter Stacy and I don't know how I could handle something like that. May God be with you and bless you and your family throughout this tragic event in your life.

JJ McAndrew was very likely the closest friend I ever had. He was an outstanding man in every regard. His big heart and absolute disdain for cruelty and unkind behavior inspired me to try to improve myself. His passing is a stunning and devastating loss to me.
