tommy and tracy,
just got the news from paul sykes. We are so sad to hear of the loss you and your family are experiencing. Jim and I know first hand how hard it is to lose a brother. My brother was killed a month before our wedding in a plane crash. We will be praying for God to pour out his comfort on all of you in the Leitner family. It sounds like Jimmy led a full and meaningful life with a lot of love for people and a lot of help in the community that he cared about. I know he will be greatly missed. It is a comfort to know that his life with Jesus was evident and that he is present with Him now. We will get in touch later in the week when you have had time to process all of this...Much love, Jim and Dixie Roberts

To the Leitner family: Although we moved from Lake Wylie to Bishop Gadsden 8+ years ago - there are many fond memories of this great person. May you find comfort and peace with God in your time of loss. Ginny and Larry Schroeder

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered; accept our prayers on behalf of thy servant Jimmy, and grant him an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of thy saints; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

Jimmy was the best person to be around. He lit up a room with his constant smile. I will miss him greatly. The Citadel class of 1968 and all of the many folks that he touched will remember him as a great husband, father, friend and leader.
