James "Jimmy" Just CHARLESTON - Evangelist James "Jimmy" Just, 79, of Charleston, SC, passed on Tuesday evening, December 26, 2023 at Ashley River Healthcare Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Born January 16, 1944 in Charleston, he was the son of the late Vernon and Susie Scott Just, Sr. He was preceded in death by six siblings: Vernon Just, Sr., Harry Just, Ernest Just, Dorothy Just-Snipes, Albertha Just-Jones and Madeline Just-Canty. He is survived by one daughter, Shana Lorraine Florence, three grandchildren: Antonio, Isaiah and Shanezia Florence, all of Melrose, Florida. Two brothers: Isaih Just (Mary) and Nathaniel Just both of Charleston, SC and a sister-in-law, Lillian Just of Johns, Island, SC. A host of many special nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service for Mr. Just on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in The Palmetto Memorial Chaple. Mr. Just will be laid rest in Riverview Memorial Park, North Charleston, SC. The family will be receiving friends at the mortuary Tuesday evening, January 2, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
