My heart goes out to Joye and Jim's family. Friends for more than 15 years, Jim's sincerity and care for others was a window into his kind soul. I will miss him ... one of my most unforgettable characters. RIP my friend.

Jim was Truly a friend to everyone that would allow. He was my friend I'm so very proud to say. I Enjoyed many trips, conversations and times with Jim. A man of great knowledge and wisdom.

I know a million times you were needed a million times we all cried if love could have saved you you never would have died ...God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be he wrapped his arms around you and whispered come to me ...for all he seen he seen you needed rest... I am so sorry. Jim and my husband( the late Harris Marshall) were great friends. They even crashed a small plane on the way to Bennettsville with some other guys that lived in the same house. I have so many fond memories and lots of smiles when I think of Jimmy. Blessings to his family. He was a great friend.

Sorry to hear of the departing news. My heart goes out to Jim`s family.
I played many rounds of golf rounds with Jim during 1990-2004 era. He was a funny person to be around on golf links. He keep everybody laughing and was quite a striker of the ball. As I reminisce, I am smiling at the fun times we shared over several years in our foursomes. He will be missed
