We are so sorry to read about Dr. Hintze's passing. He was very compassionate to our family. Over the years, we had lots to talk about with Jan cutting our children's hair and Joan cutting my hair. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
With Sincere Sympathy,

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Hintze, and send my prayers for comfort to his wife Jan and to Jane, Jennifer, and Butch. I first met Dr Hintze years ago when we all were students at Ft Johnson High School. The Hintzes were always so friendly and so kind and at so many school events. Everyone knew them. Later on, many years later, I began caring for my elderly parents, and Dr. Hintze became a welcome familiar face to me at CVS pharmacy, and for several years. He was always so busy as a pharmacist , but never ever too busy to offer up a smile, help, or word of encouragement. It meant a lot to me. I know that he will be greatly missed by many family and friends, and former coworkers.

Jim was always such a pleasure to be around and a wonderful pharmacist. He was kind to his patients and would patiently give answers and advice whenever asked. Jim will be dearly missed by so many grateful people.

Faithful Catholic, husband, father, father-in-law, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, parishioner. Pharmacist to thousands over 60 years, the Dr. behind the counter for decades on James Island.
Always joyfully remembered in our hearts, no sad tears, because he enjoyed life and has gone on home now.
Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace.
Deo gratias.
Amen
