Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Greer, I have always heard what a wonderful man he was. I know Mr. Greer will be missed terribly by his loving daughter Judy, and I hope she finds comfort from the time she spent with her dad until his passing. Judy, your dad knows how much you loved, and still love him, and please remember the time you spent with him was special for him too. Noone will ever be able to take the special moments and memories you two shared away from you. Much love to you, Harold and Christopher.

We lived across the street from Jim for many years when our children were small. He was a wonderful neighbor and loved to fish!!! I loved to fish also and he was nice enough to take me with him at times. Once I had my husband take my daughter to a birthday party so I could go fishing with Jim!!!
My son loved to visit he and Barbara. Barbara was such a great cook and made us pound cake and my daughter Santa Claus cupcakes on her birthday to take to pre-school.
Please know you and your family continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Jim Greer was our next door neighbor for twenty one years. He was the kind of man every neighborhood cherishes. He kept up with all the news, loved to work in his yard and stop for long talks about anything and everything. He always had a dog and always walked early every morning. He sent graduation cards to the kids and saved special candy bars for them at halloween. We will all miss him more than we can say. Doug, Nancy, Katie, and James Dangerfield
