James Green Obituary

James P. Green LADSON - Green, James Preston, "Slim", 72, of Ladson, SC, lost his 20 month battle with throat cancer on Monday, March 28, 2022. Through the assistance of Amedisys Hospice of Charleston SC and his nephew, Kelly Brinkley, he was able to spend his last months at home with his wife, who was at his side as he peacefully passed. James was born in South Charleston, WV, but has lived the last 36 years in the Summerville/Ladson/Goose Creek area with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Tanner Green. He is also survived by his brother, Barbee "Bobby" M. Green and his wife, Mary Green; nephew, Andy Green and his wife, Tammi Green and their two children all of Scott Depot, WV. James is also survived by his sister-in-law, Amy Tanner and her son, Tanner Hutchinson of Goose Creek, SC; his brother-in-law, Tim Tanner and his wife, Nora Tanner of Summerville, SC and their son, Shane Tanner and his wife, Jenna Tanner from St. Louis, MO. James requested no funeral service.
